The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a non-profit organization established to support women-owned businesses. They offer tools, services, and conferences that allow women-led companies to thrive and expand. We recently went to the 2022 WBENC Conference, and while there were various improvements in programs, we think there are still some aspects that deserve more attention.
In this episode, we share how WBENC began and how they help women entrepreneurs. We describe our experience with the recently concluded WBENC Conference—especially the parts we liked. We explain how the trade show could have been better and in what ways WBENC can improve upon its program structure. We also discuss the perks of being a WBENC partner and the networking benefits of being an active participant.
"WBENC is one of the more empowering conferences regardless of gender or race." Adam Moore
