Supplier inclusion has taken root in the US and Canada, with many significant players having some of the most robust supplier diversity programs. However, the rest of the world may not even know what supplier diversity is. Even if they do, they might have different criteria for what diversity entails. This is especially the case in countries where 9/10 of the workers are locals.

In this episode, we discuss what supplier diversity looks like outside the US and Canada. We describe why it’s critical for Corporate America to recognize the needs of clients who have no idea what supplier diversity is. We share how the current consumer mindset has forced many businesses to spearhead their supplier diversity efforts. We also discuss the complexities involved in creating an international supplier diversity report.
